Every first Tuesday of the month local musicians play live Open Mic (OM) music inside the Historic Train Depot in downtown Issaquah from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

The Downtown Issaquah Assn (DIA) co-sponsors this event along with the Issaquah Historical Society and theIssaquahValleySeniorCenter.

All kinds of live music is featured including folk, rock, blues, jazz, pop, reggae and old timie music.

The Open Mic is produced and promoted by the Issaquah Open Mic tea

This event will be a purely musical event with no poetry or standup comedy. No food or adult beverages will be served per agreement with the Historical Society that owns and operates the Depot.

The DIA encourages folks to have dinner in one of the many wonderful local restaurants right near the Train Depot around 5:30 or 6. Then just walk over to the Depot for a couple hours of great live music by local musicians starting at 6:30. We will finish up at 8:30 so the kids can be home and in bed by 9 pm.

There is no cover charge. Donations to the Historical Society are encouraged – and a donation bucket will be left out or circulated for those who want to donate.

There is plenty of good parking near the Train Depot. The whole family is invited. You can visit the OMwebsite at www.issaquahopenmic.com for more information.
