Issaquah Goes Apples: Scarecrows on Front Street Art Competition

It’s time to build a scarecrow! Scarecrows on Front Street is back and scarier than ever! Have fun being creative as you design and build a scarecrow out of whatever materials you like! All entries should include an apple and are to be dropped off at the Historic Shell Station October 16, 2020 – October 23, 2020 from 9am – 5pm.

Issaquah Goes Apples: Apple Inspired Dish People’s Choice Awards

The Apple People’s Choice Awards (Best Apple Inspired Dish) has returned! Vote for your favorite apple inspired dish at one of the participating restaurants in Historically Hip Downtown Issaquah! Cast your vote on social media or print off the voting card below and drop it off at the Historic Shell Station by October 31, 2020! We will announce the winners in our newsletter and on all of our social media channels.

Issaquah Goes Apples Art Competition 2020

It’s that time of the year again! Issaquah Goes Apples is just around the corner, along with the eagerly awaited art competition!

Submit apple themed art (in 2D format) between now and Oct 17th to be considered for a variety of prizes sponsored by the Downtown Issaquah Association, as well as downtown businesses including Ekta Gupta Studios, Art By Fire, and more!

Submission Guidelines

– All interested individuals are encouraged to submit their art for consideration.

– All artwork must include an apple or apple theme

– Submit a photo of your art (by October 17, 2020) to IssaquahGoesApples@gmail.com

– Submission should be in .jpg or .pdf format less than 2MB

– Acceptable media: colored pencil, graphite, paint, pastels,  photography

With your submission, please include
– Full name
– Age
– Phone number
– Details of your artwork – size, media used, (and a short description – optional)

Important dates:
Submission Deadline: October 17, 2019 11:59

Please note – There will be no drop-off of art, in the interest of public health. We will print out the artwork and display it at various businesses in the Downtown Issaquah area. So please make sure the images that you submit are of good quality (properly aligned, taken in a well lit area, etc).
