Lake Sammamish State Park Habitat Restoration

Are you tired of being indoors? Then be sure to join Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park for their annual Habitat Restoration project. As the weather warms and COVID restrictions become more lenient, they are able to offer several opportunities to volunteer at the park in March. In cooperation with Washington State Parks and the Washington State Parks Foundation, they are currently landscaping and improving the areas around the playground. There are two days of habitat restoration in scheduled for March. FLSSP can accommodate 12 volunteers per two-hour shift on Sunday, March 7, 2021 and on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
