Unleash your uninhibited, freaky joy at the Downtown Issaquah Association’s (DIA)14th annual Zombie Walk, October 28.

Halloween looms large for the Front Street invasion of “The Walking Dead” wannabes. Historically Hip diners, drivers and spectators will have a front row seat of ghoulish makeup, tattered costumes, and blood-curdling behavior.

Gather at the Historic Shell Station at 1:30 for makeup, 2:30 practice dance routines and 4:30 crawl to city hall for a Zombie Dance at 5 pm.

Issaquah Wine and ArtWalk includes a special VIP experience starting at 5pm!  This is the season finale!

Where else can you celebrate famed Washington Wines, and a Historically Hip Community, than in the Downtown Issaquah cultural beacon of the Eastside? Issaquah’s Wine & ArtWalk will feature prized vineyards from Woodinville to the Columbia Valley.  Bring your walking shoes! You will want to visit each of the 12 winery locations hosted by our downtown merchants. Grab some friends and embark on a wine adventure of Issaquah’s Historically Hip downtown and Olde Town galleries, boutiques, and businesses. Proceeds benefit the Downtown Issaquah Association.

Meet winemakers from some of Washington’s finest wine producers. Sip, stroll, and shop around the northwest’s funky Olde Town destinations. This is one of the Downtown Issaquah’s most anticipated events, so get here early. Tickets are $35 in advance and will also be sold at the door for $45 while supplies last. There are 12 tasting tickets provided with additional tasting tickets available for purchase.  ine tasters must be 21 or older. A souvenir glass is available for purchase or bring your own small, clear wine glass! A disposable glass is available.

Each winery will offer bottles of wine tax free (save 10%!) Get an additional $5.00 discount when you buy two or more bottles from a single winery at the same time.

VIP Experience – This year features a new VIP (limited to 40) experience that includes an early bird private reception with the owner of Capri Cellars, exclusive tastings and light food at the wine education center. Come and take an extra hour of wine tasting as well as learn from a vintner.  ($75). VIP check-in at Capri Cellars for pre-sold tickets only

October 28 5pm – 6pm – “Vine to Glass” Experience the journey from vine to glass in our Wine Walk VIP session! Discover the art and science behind winemaking as we take you through each step of the process. From the lush vineyards where grapes are cultivated to the moment you savor a perfectly aged bottle, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the world of wine. Along the way, enjoy tastings of exquisite wines. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or a beginner, join us for an unforgettable exploration of the vine-to-glass magic.

General Wine & ArtWalk check-in at the Historic Shell Station, 232 Front Street N., is from 6-9 p.m. This event involves some walking and standing outdoors, so plan and dress accordingly. Please bring your own glass. Bottled wine will also be available to purchase.
