Deux Amis may not share a spoken language, but they definitely share the language of music! This violin and accordion duo play classic tunes you might hear if seated at an outdoor Parisian café – jazz standards, traditional folk music, and, of course, love ballads. In the spirit of inclusion for Yuletide, Deux Amis will be offering a few selections you can sing along with or dance to as you wish.

•Alarippu – A pure dance piece that awakens the body and mind, setting the tone with precise rhythm and symmetry.
•Gambheera Natta Pushpanjali – A graceful offering of flowers through movement, welcoming the audience and invoking divine blessings.
•Ganapati Kautvam – A lively and devotional composition honoring Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles.
•Muruga Kautvam – An energetic and expressive tribute to Lord Murugan, celebrating valor, youth, and devotion.
•Brahmamokate – A profound philosophical piece expressing the oneness of humanity and the divine.
•Sukh Karta Dukh Harta Bhajan – A heartfelt bhajan dedicated to Lord Ganesha, blending devotion with rhythmic beauty.

The Muller-Ho String Orchestra at Kaleidoscope. A youth performance featuring A Christmas Carol.

Kaden Ko, an emerging jazz saxophonist, will be soloing holiday tunes over a jazz backing track

The Traveling Bards. The Traveling Bards are a two-piece supergroup forged in the fire of previous musical projects. Hear original songs and covers about traveling, people, and places, and true-not-true stories about things that may have happened but quite possibly didn’t. The Traveling Bards are: Ian McKnight: vocals, mandolin, mandola, flutes of all kinds. Pete Reed: vocals, guitars, keyboards, accordions, harmonicas
