Fun for Adults in Downtown Issaquah: Happy Hours
By Krysten Carrera
Welcome to part one of the two-part Fun for Adults in Downtown Issaquah series! This month, we look at happy hours. Even if you don’t drink alcohol (or you decided to extend your Dry January), there’s still a lot to love about our community’s specials. Some of them include food or other perks, and all of them foster conversation and good times with fellow merrymakers.
As many of us continue to recover from spending over the holidays, not to mention navigate the realities of inflation, you can’t beat these bargains.
Read on!
- I’m starting with my favorite happy hour, Krawbar. They feature consistently good food and drink specials from 4-6pm every single day of the week.
- Also boasting daily specials is Rollin Log Tavern. Located on Sunset Ave, near the south end of Front St., they offer a dollar off a variety of wells and drafts from 4-7pm
- H&H Saloon, always fun and full of colorful characters, sells $3.25 PBRs from 2-5pm & $6 double wells from 5-8pm daily.
- You’ll find a range of food and drink specials at El 42 Cantina from 4-6 pm Monday through Friday. Also check out their newly expanded bar area.
- Every day from 3:30-5:30pm, Stan’s Bar-B-Q has $1-off draft beers, $2-off ciders, and $1-off wings and chili. I’ll take one of each, please! Weekend specials too.
- Sunset Alehouse food and drink specials run from 3-5pm, Monday through Friday.
- You can enjoy $5 mimosas at Fifty5 Sunset on Saturdays and Sundays until 2pm, as well as discounted drinks Monday through Friday from 3-5pm
- Levitate’s happy hour runs Wednesday through Friday from 3-5pm with food and drink specials.
- Honorable mentions – because they aren’t technically happy hours, but still offer amazing deals on a fun time – are Big Picture movie theater with half-off admission on Tuesdays, and special deals at Village Theatre.
