Support Free Volunteer-Led Programming and Make a Difference in Your Community

Downtown Issaquah Association GiveBIG Support

Invest in your community with a gift to the Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) as Washington’s GiveBIG kicks off on April 19. Give Big is a unique opportunity to support education, preservation, and celebration efforts downtown. DIA is a volunteer-based and community-led nonprofit with a mission to keep our historic downtown alive, inviting, and vibrant.

With your support, DIA will bring more pedestrians to Downtown Issaquah retailers, service providers, and restaurants. Your generosity will enable us to continue FREE programming that supports local performing and visual arts talent, hang flower baskets, lead city-wide cleanups, and host events like the Classic Car Show, music festivals, and Farm Fresh Markets. Your gift will also enable local artists to share their work at our Historically Hip Artisan Market, window art displays, and music strolls.

In 2023, DIA has three programs in need of your support: Flowers on Front, Historically Hip Artisan Market and Fenders on Front Car Show.

Flowers on Front
Flowers on Front is the annual flower basket donation project that brightens our downtown through a unique gifting program. Your tax-deductible donation will get you a flower basket “In Honor of…”, Mother’s Day, or just because, that is strategically placed and maintained by volunteers. One of Downtown Issaquah’s favorite yearly projects, the flower basket campaign kicks off Spring Equinox. Click here

Artists and programming: Historically Hip Artisan Market
DIA is a lifeline for artists of many genres, from music to jewelry. We pride ourselves on the vibrant and creative community of contributors who brighten our streets.

Fenders on Front Street
The Fenders on Front Street Car Show, now in its 16th year, is a family-friendly and free event on Father’s Day! Hundreds of classic and vintage car owners from across the state proudly show their vehicles along Front Street in historic downtown Issaquah. The event benefits Life Enrichment Options, a local non-profit that supports adults with development disabilities. Thousands of visitors from near and far gather to admire the beautiful vintage classic cars and motorcycles. Visitors expect a fun-filled day with live music, food trucks, vendors, and an awards ceremony; the day ends with an afternoon cruise to Triple XXX. The event relies on generous donations to thrive. For more information, visit the Fenders on Front Street website.

Our Historically Hip Downtown is your town. Thank you for your love and for giving generously. We will never be able to thank you enough.
