Local Artists Descend on Historically Hip Downtown Issaquah in Pop-Up Shop

Find Exclusive Art Just in Time for the Holidays

ISSAQUAH, Wash., Oct. 21, 2020 – Artisan art is popping up in Historic Downtown Issaquah for the season in the Rogue Building and the Train Depot through the end of the year. The Artisan Market features artwork ranging from wood pieces to paintings, jewelry, pet portraits and distinctive specialty gift items for all ages and tastes. Safety and COVID compliance are foremost in mind. I’m proud to volunteer with the Downtown Issaquah Association and artists from the Pacific Northwest bringing their unique, creative expressions to Issaquah,” said Jim Halas, who manages logistics of the Artisan Market. Jim is a local craftsman and owner of Jim’s Woodshop in Issaquah.

The Artisan Market joins the annual Holiday Shop in the Historic Shell Station and Artist Sunday in highlighting Issaquah’s renowned creative arts district.Visitors can also browse the wares of merchants and services of businesses and explore the diverse international food at restaurants along Front Street. Enhancing the Issaquah arts scene is Artist Sunday, a nationwide movement encouraging consumers to shop with artists and craftsmen. Its goal is to help artists sell more of their work during the fall and winter holiday seasons. It occurs on Nov. 29, the first Sunday after Thanksgiving.
