Brendan Wiederien(above) is an artist in the making. A junior at Issaquah High School, he and Gio Jennings, a fellow junior, volunteered to videotape local artists painting Downtown Issaquah windows, and bring more youthful hip to downtown. (They will squirm at this description, but it’s true!) The students say Issaquah’s artist vibe inspires their work. Overwhelmingly positive response to the windows may mean more to come!
