SPECIAL MERCHANT MEETING

DIA’s commitment to our merchants is to coordinate with the City during the COVID  recovery efforts to make it easier to get back to doing business in Downtown Issaquah.

• • Extended restaurant seating into the street
  • City working on regulatory relief re temporary sidewalk, parking lot and street use
  • Liquor Alteration Request – Restaurants need to do this to extend the serving area – Liquor Board is expediting process time
• Keeping Downtown Issaquah Beautiful – cleaning up the downtown for residents to shop local in beautiful setting (cleaning windows etc)
• Merchant Kits – DIA is preparing to provide our businesses a kit to include hand sanitizer, gloves, cloth masks and no contact thermometers. GiveBIG and other funding raised for this purpose

  • Signs:  wayward signage for parking options, window clings, posters, temporary curbside pick up parking on street signs, health reminder posters, We Love Local SHOP campaign posters

  • Fred Nystrom HOA Benefits Website – business allows a discount as a benefit to being in the HOA
  • DIA Marketing – cross promoting – Live Videos
  • DIA creating We Love Local campaign focusing on bringing consumers to downtown restaurants / merchant
  • COVID Art Inspired scavenge Hunt
